This destination is in the middle of Silent Valley territory. Situated in a small village called Karuvarakkundu, Malappuram District of Kerala.
This place lies 10 min walk away from Perinthlmanna. It is also one of the calm waterfalls in Malappuram known as Kalkundu Waterfall and Karuvarakkundu Waterfalls.
The water will never end up flowing here. Even in Summer, there will be a large estimate of the audience to enjoy having a chit chat with friends. It is one of the best one-day picnic spots in Malappuram district, Kerala.
As the name specifies, there is a crowd-pleasing pool shaped large pond formed out in the center. The water keeps flowing down through the rocks, as a result, the pond is crystal clear.
There are a few things you should be careful. If you are planning to spend some time in the waters. The rock mountains here are slippery and you should be very careful about that. The water falling area has in-depth so must be careful. Make sure that you have people around you that can swim (if you can’t swim) before you get into the pool.
