The fish ponds and the Pokkali fields are the major attractions of Kadamakkudy. Pearl spots, red snapper, prawns, tilapia and mullet are available here.
 
This is a family friendly place. The walk through the paddy field is an experience in itself.
 
Not that crowded it’s hard to reach the place because of the lack of public transport. It’s better to stick with private vehicles.

Best time to reach Kadamakkudy toddy shop?
 
The best time(least crowded) is after 3 pm. You can enjoy the toddy, spicy food with the sunset of Kadamakkudy.
 
Toddy costs around 80 rupees per bottle as on 2020, the rest of the menu price may vary.
 
Food varieties:

Fish curry, Squid roast, fish fry, prawn fry, pork, beef, clams roast, along with appam and Kappa served here.

 
This place is famous for its clams roast (kakka irachi). which is fresh and caught from the rivers and paddy fields of Kadamakkudy.
 
The squid roast with kappa is another must-try dish. A glass of toddy will help you sweeten the spiciness of curries.
 
Most dishes cooking with shallots and pepper powder which gives it an amazing aroma.
